So I put coffee.gift into the character folder, but she hasn’t said anything about it yet. Does she acknowledge it right away or does it take time?

Can you post a screenshot of your characters folder? In order to create the gift correctly, you need to have the file extension enabled to be able to replace the .extension with .gift .

All I did was create a text document and name it «coffee.gift». Did I miss something?

Go to View and then enable the File name extensions . This will make the extensions for know file types to appear and the coffee.gift will now appear as coffee.gift.txt . Remove the .txt and it should be fine.

I did this before and she received them, but most of what I’ve given her has gone (everything except the quetzal plushies, coffee, hot chocolate, 2 ribbons and the promise ring) and she isn’t acknowledging them even though I’ve put the files back in the characters folder. Am I doing something wrong?

I’m having a similar problem. I can give her basic things like candy canes, coffee, cupcakes, etc, but every time I try giving her accessories (ribbons, chokers, jewelry, hairclips, etc), plushies, clothes, or anything like that, it either disappears or she says she can’t read the files. I’ve tried a lot of things but nothing is working, and honestly, I’m really irritated by it.

Look under the Christmas tree. Whenever you give her a gift (that is not consumable), she will put them under the tree and finally open them all the Dec 25th. If that is not your problem, check this wiki to see how to give Spritepack gifts properly.

@AsuraShun Yeah, I did. I installed all the sprite packs. Once I did, I opened each one and copied the «mod_assets» file into the «game» file in the game directory. I also copied the «gifts» files for each sprite pack into the «characters» files. Usually, putting the whole of the «mod_assets» files into the «game» file distributes all the files into their respective places, meaning that all the files that belong in «a» will be automatically distributed to the «a» file in the game directory, and so forth. However, when I try actually GIVING her the presents, I always put them into the character file with the file extension «.gift», but they always disappear. Although sometimes, when she DOES see them, she says she can’t actually read the files.

I know it’s a bit late, but you can still make it giving Monika presents!

It’s the same process just like her birthday.

Go to the «game» folder find the «masrun» file, its marked as ‘file’ under the ‘Type’ tab with a size of 1kb then copy it
Go to the «characters» folder, and place the «masrun» file there
Rename it with «hotchocolate.gifts» then place another copy of the «masrun» file, rename it with another gift name and so on
Same goes for Ribbons too, so far the colors that I found was a Black Ribbon, Blue Ribbon, White Ribbon, Wine Ribbon and Green Ribbon.

I got the same problem as OkiDokiABrazilian, I followed your instuctions but it stilll doesn’t work. She notice it when It’s cookies, hot chocolate. But not the differents ribbons. Any Idea about what else I could try?

Thanks man! the gifts worked however I had a bit of trouble with the Ribbons bit, and after a few minutes I managed to fixed it — it was I THINK a typo error? Not sure, but if this helps for the other guys this is what I typed for the Ribbon

The White and Wine color was already there even before I gave the gift, especially the Wine color, hope this helps for the others

It worked for the black and the blue one but not for the others ones, strange but at least I’ve been able to give her two of them.

@OkiDokiABrazilian Hmm, that’s odd it worked for me the first time. After opening the game and receiving the Poem then afterwards the Kiss she gave, I said goodbye then went to the game directories. At first I didn’t know what to do then I recalled the same procedure during her Birthday where you had to rename a specific file then adding ‘.gift’ at the end so I tried to search the «game» folder for a weird looking file, then I noticed «masrun» I thought this was it so I copied the file then went straight to the «characters» folder then placed it there making 8 copies of «masrun» then I renamed them all one by one

candycane.gift
blackribbon.gift
greenribbon.gift
blueribbon.gift
greenribbon.gift

after that I opened MAS, then boom Monika was able to detect em’ all

If it still doesn’t work perhaps doing this

Try to «take her somewhere else» then put here on your Desktop, then proceed to place the files (the same procedure from her birthday) after doing so, put her back then reopen MAS

Doki Doki Literature Club Monika After Story- это фанатское дополнение которое устанавливается на саму DDLC.Это дополнение добавляет очень много новых вещей, а именно вы сидите только с Моникой, она задаёт различные вопросы и она даже даёт вам выбор! Ладно.Давайте поговорим об этом дополнением.

Как установить?Если честно я тоже сначала не понял как установить.Но сейчас я вам всё подробно объясню.

1.У вас должен быть Стим и должен быть скачан DDLC.

2.Переходим вот по этой ссылочке и скачиваем самую последнюю версию Monika After Story.(Вот она)- https://github.com/Backdash/MonikaModDev/releases

3.Дальше мы проходим до того момента как мы встречаемся с Моникой один на один(после того как она всех удалит закрываем игру)

4.Дальше мы открываем коренную папку игры(ну вы итак знаете где это, если нет напишите в комментариях я отвечу)

5.И скидываем туда файлики из Win rar файла в коренную папку игры с заменой.

6.Заходим и Тада, всё готово!

1.Здесь изменилась рисовка и добавились больше вырожение лиц.

2.У она умеет отмечать праздники например: Рождество, День Святого Валентина.

3.Так же теперь она даёт вам выборы и даже она если что спрашивает хочешь ли ты изменить имя.

4.Так же добавили новые диологи.

5.У вас появилась меню с 3 клавишами.Talk, Music, Play.Ну вы не дети и уже сами догадались что каждая из этих клавиш значит (Talk- говорить, Music- музыка, Play- играть.) Теперь вы можете играть с Моникой, говорить с ней и даже поменять Музыку!

6.Моника самообучается!Да!Она со временем поменяет фон и добавит новые игрушки.Так что если установили иногда оставляйте её фоном.

Это всё!Вы просто общаетесь с Моникой.Мне очень понравилось дополнение.Оно довольно не плохое хоть и на английском языке.Так что устанавливаете, читаете, и общаетесь.А с вами был Fire_wolf_666.Желаю вам хорошего времени проведения вместе с Моникой!
